Reminder: Dress for winter weather! Children go out for recess and fresh air every day at our schools. Please be certain your child arrives at school prepared with hats, gloves, boots, coats and an extra change of clothes in his or her backpack. If the wind chill factor presents concern for student safety, staff will make the determination to keep children inside.

School Closures: Announcements will be made between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. if schools across the Coeur d'Alene school District will be closed due to weather-related safety concerns.  Please watch for closure information on the district's main page of the website.  KREM 2, KXLY 4, KHQ 6 and radio stations KVNI 1080 and K102 will broadcast/stream school closures. The district's hotline will provide regular updates on the status of school closures, and is a very efficient way, in partnership with the District's Web site, to check the status of closures.
